General about the test method

The Resistance Apparatus, for testing resistance to abnormal heat of insulating sleeves of plug pins according to IEC standard 60884-1 Clause 28.1.2, consisting of a laboratory heater influences a piece of brass element material of similar design and function as in figure 40 of the respective standard. The brass element material has an insertion of a thermocouple for verification of the respective temperature 120 °C and 180 °C
