Scratch/Abrasion Test for Refrigerators

Scratch Test makes scratches on material surfaces of refrigerators etc.

Specification of the Equipment

• A scratching tool according to Fig. 102 is making scratches of on surfaces material - see enclosed Fig.102
• The tool is motor-operated with a speed of 1 mm/second
• A weight load is 35 N ± 3 N is applied right angles to the surface
• Force parallel to the surface to be tested not exceeding 250 N
• The surface to be tested is scratched at three different positions in a direction at right angles to the axis of the channel and three different positions on the channel in a direction parallel to it. In the letter case, the length on the scratch shall be approximately 50 mm.
• The scratches shall not cross each other
• The sample is mounted on a x-y table - adjustable to for turning into different angles
