General about the test method

The Screw Terminal Tester, according to IEC standard 60884-1 Clause 12.2.5 figure 11, consists of a mechanical rig built up of aluminium system with an electrical motor for the rotation 10 rpm of the disc. It executes a mechanical endurance test of the cable.

The cord is fixed in a tightening device at the upper point of the vertical cord and the lower point of the vertical cord passes through a bushing located on a disc.
